We are looking for people to come on board by the end of this year (Nov/Dec). If timing is right for you, please read this information to figure out if you are right for us...

You probably already live in Chile and you hopefully already know about Needish.

As a site, we are only live with a "tip of the ice-berg" and we are now looking with anticipation for people that can help us build the whole mountain. We are determined to improve the way local Needs are solved. A fun challenge and a rewarding project with great potential.

You are the best in your field in Chile and now you want in. Because you think that @ Needish you can have more fun, learn more stuff, see more quick results from your work and make more money (salary + stock-options) than in your current position.

Headquartered in the US and with development in Chile we are looking to become the first "Start-up" ever to conquer the world from Santiago. And even if we fail doing that, we could end up conquering parts of it.

Our vision is to be the best employer in Chile. You would be joining a team of 10-15 people and a super-hero.

You are a huge fan of the Internet and addicted to learning about all the new stuff all the time. Maybe you weren't the best student, but you consider yourself the best web-resource in your field and you can prove why.

You are a non-pretentious team-player who knows when to ask for help. You thrive in a creative environment and you are always a useful source for knowledge for your colleagues. You hate delivering a bad result and take full responsibility for your work. Not the 9-5 kind of person, but rather a "will get this done whenever it needs to be done" kind of person.

You constantly read, participate and learn from on and off-line resources to stay ahead of your game.

Whats your game?

We need (Highly relevant experiences and documented success required for all positions):

2 Developers (You were always a natural talent and now you are fluent in OOP, CakePHP, common Javascript frameworks and Ajax.)

1 Front-end graphic designer (You like Needish as it is but you also know that a lot can be improved. Together with our designer Claudio, you will take the Needish experience to a new level.)

1 Q&A Manager (With authority, you will improve and establish new processes regarding testing etc. at Needish. You will also be responsible for building a team working for you. You hate all kinds of errors in a web-application and detect things no one else could ever think of.)

1 User Interface designer (Make love to our users (though not literally, at least not paid for). Optimize, optimize, optimize. Study users and improve their experience. You are already being very successful at that somewhere else!)

1 Database administrator (You have a passion for analyzing and optimizing queries, love benchmarking and profiling and you're the best when it comes to MySQL architecture.)

We will review applications (resume + PERSONAL cover-letter) during July and August. Interviews in September.
