So I am returning from Africa next week with some gorgeous fabrics, and while I'm having some dresses and whatnot made for me here, there are some very special pieces that I want to make sure are REALLY well done, and so I'm wondering if anybody knows of a good local seamstress who would create a few items for me? Thank you!

I don't know about dress-making, but I just got some jeans hemmed at Paris Tailor on Main St in Los Altos. Jean hemming can go horribly wrong and look weird, but these look great, so I would imagine that if they do entire dresses then they'd do a good job with those as well. Good luck!
