Ok, clearly Verlier and I have very different opinions on the topic! I will say, however, that I don't know of anyone who's found a friend (or a girlfriend) by just saying they want one. Get out and do something! Or make connections online...here by helping others, in other sites by connecting, whatever works for you. But this is not a case of ask and ye shall receive, more seek and ye shall find. Good luck!

Thanks, and I agree Emily. I plan on joining local volunteer groups because I believe in helping other more now than ever before. Maybe I will run into someone. Other than that, I suppose going back to school is another option if I can find the time. Or maybe I will switch jobs and become a nurse.. where are all the women? Not at my job.
