Tourist destinations near Malaga, Spain

I am going to Malaga, Spain for a few days this summer. Does anyone have any good suggestions for unique things to do in the surrounding areas of Spain? For example, when I went to Caracas, Venezuela I flew to see Angel Falls and it was the greatest thing I ever did as a tourist. I would be interested to know if there is anything else that would be a "must do" kind of thing for this region.

Well, I live in Marbella, Spain, just 45 min west of malaga. Malaga is a beatiful city, with nice views, Picasso Museum, and a lot of traditional buildings. Near Malaga you have a lot of places you must discover and visit, personally I recomend:
- Granada: big city with a big arabian palace "La Alhambra".
- Ronda: Small typical Spanish town in the hills, with a huge natural cliff.
- Gibraltar: small piece of Great Britain in the mediterranean, a big mountain with excelent views to africa, and some wild monkeys on top.
- Sevilla: big city, excelent nightlife.
- Puerto Banus: Huge boats in a big marina, lot of glam and excelent food. You will see some of the best cars in the world: bentleys, ferraris, lamborghinis, etc.
