Sales Position in Education
Job Specification:
• The candidate will directly interact with people in both Marketing and Accounts, defining sales targets, and strategies. This person would need to be highly motivated and work proactively contacting new clients and making certain that existing clients are beyond satisfied.
• The role will involve giving feedback to Creative Direction, Administration and Teachers. The role will require following up and executing Marketing Leads, and constantly keeping up to date with what’s new on the market. E.g. books, materials, etc…
• Informing teachers of new products and motivating them as sales agents. Including making an incentives list for teachers who achieve sales.
• Creating monthly sales reports, adding new sales to our website blog, and making an organized database of statistics etc…
• An attitude to work flexibly and independently on sales leads. Follow up work during the evening and weekends might occasionally be required.
• Revenue management
• Creating innovative sales presentations and pitches.
• Researching new methods of sales in order to be up to date with new approaches in the market.
• Always promoting GEAD in a positive light and behaving in a professional manner when representing the company.
• Not being confined to the duties above and using initiative in areas that need extra work.
Person Specification:
• At least a years worth of experience in selling language packages (or something similar) in Chile or another Latin American Country.
• Contacts in the education field.
• Proven experience working in a customer care environment, whereby “the customer is always right” attitude.
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish. Other languages are a plus.
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft packages, Word, Excel and Outlook as administrative abilities are vital to this position.
• Ability to create systematic figures quarterly.
