on 7/30/2008 So I am returning from Africa next week with some gorgeous fabrics, and while I'm having some dresses and whatnot made for me here, there are some very special pieces that I want to make sure are REALLY well done, and so I'm wondering if anybody knows of a good local seamstress who would create a few items for me? I'm trying to organize a dinner and bar night for a good friend's 21st birthday, and wondering if anyone knows any great, trendy spots for drinking and dining in downtown Palo Alto? I was thinking that reserving a table at the Old Pro might be fun -- does anyone know whether they do that for parties or not? It would be on a Saturday night, in case that complicates things. Thanks!
