We are looking for people to come on board by the end of this year (Nov/Dec). If timing is right for you, please read this information to figure out if you are right for us...

You probably already live in Chile and you hopefully already know about Needish.

As a site, we are only live with a "tip of the ice-berg" and we are now looking with anticipation for people that can help us build the whole mountain. We are determined to improve the way local Needs are solved. A fun challenge and a rewarding project with great potential.

You are the best in your field in Chile and now you want in. Because you think that @ Needish you can have more fun, learn more stuff, see more quick results from your work and make more money (salary + stock-options) than in your current position.

Headquartered in the US and with development in Chile we are looking to become the first "Start-up" ever to conquer the world from Santiago. And even if we fail doing that, we could end up conquering parts of it.

Our vision is to be the best employer in Chile. You would be joining a team of 10-15 people and a super-hero.

Whats your game?

We need (Highly relevant experiences and documented success required for all positions):

2 Developers (You were always a natural talent and now you are fluent in OOP, CakePHP, common Javascript frameworks and Ajax.)

1 Front-end graphic designer (You like Needish as it is but you also know that a lot can be improved. Together with our designer Claudio, you will take the Needish experience to a new level.)

1 Q&A Manager (With authority, you will improve and establish new processes regarding testing etc. at Needish. You will also be responsible for building a team working for you. You hate all kinds of errors in a web-application and detect things no one else could ever think of.)

1 User Interface designer (Make love to our users (though not literally, at least not paid for). Optimize, optimize, optimize. Study users and improve their experience. You are already being very successful at that somewhere else!)

1 Database administrator (You have a passion for analyzing and optimizing queries, love benchmarking and profiling and you're the best when it comes to MySQL architecture.)

We will review applications (resume + PERSONAL cover-letter) during July and August. Interviews in September.

Inside sales and customer service

Hi, we are looking for a couple of inside sales-reps for our offices in Santiago, Chile.

You must be native in English and willing to experience a fun start-up from within. Lots of hard work, flexible hours and duties and a lot of e-mailing and calling to clients (users). But more than anything, a fun and inspiring working environment!

We are not looking to hire at this very moment, but plan to expand our so called "Fun-office" in 3-4 months. You are probably an American living in Chile... but non native American with outstanding English-skills are also welcome.

We offer competitive salaries for Chile and option-plans for all our employees.

Useful background would be:
- Advanced Internet-knowledge (as a user)
- Experience in sales/service-mindedness
- A history of not liking to loose

You probably wouldn't like this experience unless you are:

Tengo un caso hipotetico, seguido por una pregunta por si te interesa.

Estás comprando un servicio o producto, comparando dos empresas distintas. Entiendes que la calidad, durabilidad, funcionalidad etc. y precio está 100% igual.

Ahora se presenta la opcion de comparar tambien las empresas que proveen el servicio/producto... cuales son los 3 datos sobre las empresas que más te interesan saber para comparar y ayudar a tomar una decision?

Ideas para feature nuevo

La semana que viene (creo) vamos a lanzar el feature: "Yo tambien"... para poder juntar una masa de gente que necesita lo mismo:

Amor
Un mundo en paz
Un auto mas buena onda con el medio ambiente

Lo que necesiten!

Ahora, que funcionalidad acerca de eso les gustaria/no les gustaria ver?

Partiremos con un paso chico... asi que sera un featurcito simple primero... pero igual pongan cualquier idea loca q quieran!
